Sophie n’est pas comme les autres, mais, exceptionnellement, elle sera parmi eux. Elle voudrait que sa mère soit là. Que sa mère la voie sur une scène. Elle voudrait, pour un moment seulement, pouvoir briller un peu.
Sophie lives with her mother in a small apartment in a popular neighbourhood. Tonight she’ll be playing violin in the school concert. With the normal children. Sophie isn’t like the others, but on this rare occasion she’ll be among them. She’d like for her mother to be there. For her mother to see her on a stage. She’d like to shine a little, if only for a moment.
